Eight Teams Locked In for Austin Major 2025 Playoffs

Following the conclusion of Stage 3 at the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025, the final lineup of top teams advancing to the playoff stage has been determined. These teams will continue their fight for the championship title in the decisive phase of the tournament.

Eight teams successfully made it through the Swiss system and will step onto the stage at the Moody Center, where the final matches will take place.

The playoff participants are: FURIA and Team Spirit (3–0 record), FaZe Clan, Natus Vincere, and Team Vitality (3–1), The MongolZ, paiN Gaming, and MOUZ (3–2).

The teams eliminated from the tournament are: Virtus.pro, Legacy, G2 Esports, Aurora Gaming, 3DMAX, Lynn Vision, Nemiga Gaming, and Team Liquid.

The playoffs of BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 will be held in a single-elimination format from June 19 to 22. All matches, including the grand final, will be played as best-of-three series.

The tournament winner will not only claim the title of the first-ever CS2 Major champion held in the United States but also secure $500,000 from the total $1,250,000 prize pool.
