On the second day of The International 6 TnC Gaming, one of the Southeast Asian qualifier teams, took down tournament favorites OG 2-0.

OG, captained by Tal "Fly" Aizik, leading up to TI6 were clear favorites for a top spot. The winners of both the Frankfurt and Manila Majors, the OG squad are among the best in Dota 2. From Amer "Miracle-" Al-Barkawi, widely considered one of the best mid laners in the game, to high-impact supports like Andreas "Cr1t-" Nielsen, there was little doubt this team would reach the Grand Finals, even after being knocked down to the lower bracket by MVP Phoenix.

TnC Gaming, led by longtime North American Dota player Jimmy "DeMoN" Ho, managed to surprise OG. This team went 7-7 in the group stage against very difficult competition, but was still unfavored in the matchup. However, given talented young players, this TnC squad might have been the most underestimated at the tournament.

In game one, OG drafted a proven set of heroes, using the synergy of Medusa and Drow Ranger to push early. Despite holding the lead for most of the early game, OG struggled to keep its heroes alive and continue pushing. TnC dragged the game out, while constantly making space for Lifestealer to get the items needed. Despite a good performance from Miracle-, he wasn’t able to lead his team to a win, and OG tapped out at the 54-minute mark.

In game two OG turned to their signature Tiny-Wisp combination that won them so many games. In response, TnC drafted a Drow strategy, with a Vengeful Spirit and Huskar to shut down Miracle-'s Ember Spirit. Once again, OG had an early lead and dominated the first 30 minutes. TnC never broke down, always managing to stop OG at the last critical moment. After a series of excellent chronospheres, eventually TnC found its way to OG's base and forced out the sensational win.

TnC will advance to the top eight of The International 6, and will compete the next round of the lower bracket. OG finishes in the 9th-12th spot, a big dissappointment for the European team.
